Hi!
installing gitora on windows machine Got errors during DB installation tasks
on windows: (DB resides on different machine, RHEL).
there were various errors during the installation:
(gave SYS credentionals as required during installation)

Error :PLS-00201: identifier ‘DBMS_OBFUSCATION_TOOLKIT’ must be declared
Error :PLS-00201: identifier ‘DBMS_SQL’ must be declared

Error :PLS-00905: object GITORA.BDF_MAINFRAME_QRY is invalid
Error :PLS-00905: object GITORA.BDF_APPLICATION_QRY is invalid
Error :PLS-00905: object GITORA.BDF_SUPPORT is invalid

later on
ORA-06508: PL/SQL: could not find program unit being called: "GITORA.EDITOR"
ORA-06512: at “GITORA.BDF_PANELDTLINS_GEN”, line 20

DB version is oracle 11.2.0.3

Please advice what to do to proceed with installation

Hi Alexander,

DBMS_OBFUSCATION_TOOLKIT and DBMS_SQL packages are somehow missing in your database or GITORA doesn’t have necessary privileges.

Could you send us the installation log file?

We’ve sent an error report so you should have one. (today while using windows installation and yesterday when installing on RHEL)

as for permissions - no - we do have required objects. more over - we even granted sysdba to getora user during installation process so it should get required permissions during recompilation phase of installation.

when we tried to recompile manually - we received errors that tables are missing, etc.

I can send more detailed logs but please clarify email for it. (currently see no option for that)

Please send the detailed logs to gitora {at} theformspider.com.

Hi guys,

Did you able to solve this? I also got a similar problem, db installation says some of the objects of GITORA is invalid.

No at this moment. Gitora team says they’ll come back with resolution in the end of the week.
I believe it is related to db security and public synonyms which are missing due security configuration of latest db release.
